user ID quick reference

Click the appropriate product for the steps to determine your user ID:
iSilo™ for iPhone OS
  1. Start iSilo.
  2. Tap More, the button with the ellipsis (...).
  3. Scroll down to the Tools section and tap System Information.
  4. The User ID field displays your user ID.

Note: The user ID is based on the serial number of the device.


iSilo™ for Palm OS®
  1. Start iSilo.
  2. Go to the Tools menu and tap System Information.
  3. The User ID field displays your user ID.

Note: The user ID is based on the HotSync® name of the device.


iSilo™ for Pocket PC
  1. Start iSilo.
  2. Go to the Tools menu and tap System Information.
  3. The User ID field displays your user ID.

Note: The user ID is based on the owner name of the device. If the User ID field is blank, you need to enter the owner name for the device by following these steps:

  1. Go to the Start menu and tap Settings.
  2. Select the Personal tab and tap Owner Information.
  3. Select the Identification tab and fill in the Name field.
  4. Tap OK.

iSilo™ for Windows®
  1. Start iSilo.
  2. Go to the Help menu and click System Information.
  3. The User ID field displays your user ID.

Note: The user ID is based on the name of the user currently logged onto the system. If that information is not available, then it is based on the registered owner of the installed version of Windows®.


iSilo™ for Windows Mobile™ Smartphone
  1. Start iSilo.
  2. Go to the Tools menu and select System Information.
  3. The User ID field displays your user ID.

Note: The user ID is based on the owner name of the device. If the User ID field is blank, you need to enter the owner name for the device by following these steps:

  1. On the Home screen, select Programs.
  2. Select Settings, then More.
  3. Select Owner Information.
  4. Fill in the Name field.
  5. Select Done.

iSilo™ for Windows® CE Handheld PC
  1. Start iSilo.
  2. Go to the Help menu and tap System Information.
  3. The User ID field displays your user ID.

Note: The user ID is based on the owner name of the device. If the User ID field is blank, you need to enter the owner name for the device by following these steps:

  1. In the Start menu, tap Settings, then tap Control Panel.
  2. Double-tap Owner.
  3. Select the Identification tab and fill in the Name field.
  4. Tap OK.

iSilo™ for Symbian UIQ
  1. Start iSilo.
  2. Go to the Tools menu and tap System information.
  3. The User ID field displays your user ID.

Note: The user ID is based on the IMEI number, a unique number given to the device at the time of manufacture.


iSilo™ for Symbian Series 60
  1. Start iSilo.
  2. In the Menu, go to the Tools sub-menu and select System information.
  3. The User ID field displays your user ID.

Note: The user ID is based on the IMEI number, a unique number given to the device at the time of manufacture.


iSilo™ for Symbian Series 80
  1. Start iSilo.
  2. In the Menu, go to the Tools sub-menu and select System information.
  3. The User ID field displays your user ID.

iSilo™ for BlackBerry®
  1. Start iSilo.
  2. In the menu, go to the Tools sub-menu and select System Information.
  3. The User ID field displays your user ID.

Note: The user ID is based on the owner name of the device. If the User ID field is blank, you need to enter the owner name for the device by following these steps:

  1. Go to the applications screen of your device and click Options.
  2. In the Options screen, select Owner and click.
  3. Fill in the Name field.
  4. Press the Escape key and Save the changes.

iSilo™ for Android™
  1. Start iSilo.
  2. Press the Menu key and select Tools.
  3. In the Tools sub-menu, select System Information.
  4. The User ID field displays your user ID.

Note: The user ID is based on the IMEI number, a unique number given to the device at the time of manufacture.


iSilo™ Mac OS X
  1. Start iSilo.
  2. Go to the Tools menu and click System Information.
  3. The User ID field displays your user ID.

Note: The user ID is based on the serial number of the computer. If that information is not available, then it is based on the logon name of the current user. If the logon name of the current user is not available, then it is based on the full name of the current user.


iSilo™ for Windows® Phone
  1. Start iSilo.
  2. On the application bar along the bottom, tap the ellipsis to access the menu.
  3. In the menu, tap Tools, then tap System Information.
  4. The User ID field displays your user ID.

Note: The user ID is based on a unique value provided by the device.


iSilo™ for webOS™
  1. Start iSilo.
  2. In the application menu, tap Tools, then tap System Information.
  3. The User ID field displays your user ID.
